But yes, it will be probably pretty easy for them to reconnect their finger, if they will it. But this finger cuted is also the proof of their folish self, and their new choice of life. A memorial to the day or a first démon-lord ever have treat them like people … and not only tool, or trash. Healing it will only happen if our MC start by beatrying them and cut they covenant. Never before that.
Beside, if they where able to regenerat, how do you explain all the scars on their body ? They have obviously a limit to their ability to heal and go beyond the tortures and injuries suffered. Other the one scaring their mind and soul, of course : madness is after all, the best refuge for it.

Over the years I’ve read hundreds if not thousands of light novels, chinese novels and korean ones(translated to english mind you) and very few can come close to this series in terms of the plot and the investment and dedication I’ve put into reading a novel.

On Reddit they are saying author did drop this novel into hiatus. As such it might be very unlikely there will be next volume. Would love to read it though. I found it very promising and really fun read.
