  13. the art is very satisfying. if you tell me it’s a japanese LN and not korean, i will be believing those words immediately lol. very little to none korean signature in these arts, made them look close to those by japanese artists

  18. Huh, noticed the pdf download doesn’t seem to include the colored images and spreads. Any reason for that? Since it seems like the other ln images were resized for the pdf too. Did you not get all the images at the time you made the pdf?

    Also, really glad I started reading this. Would have overlooked it from the title alone, but was pleasantly surprised when I actually gave it a chance.

    1. Oh, it seems the one who made that pdf for me actually forgot to add those. The guy did an impressive job to make the pdf file nearly identical to the actual light novel book. So I’d cut him some slack 😛

      1. Oh, that’s fine, since I’m saving the photos with a higher res anyway. Just thought I’d mention it. Wasn’t sure whether it was you or someone else who made the PDF file, but I had an inkling it was someone else since they changed ‘outcast’ to ‘untouchability’.

        I was wondering, though; can’t the term for ‘untouchability’ in Korean be translated to simply ‘untouchable’? Because I also noticed that in the PDF file, during one of Lapis’ PoVs, she refers to herself as a ‘leprosy’ rather than as a ‘leper’ (I’m not sure if it’s the same as what you have here on the site and you also translated that part as ‘leprosy’) when the latter seemed more appropriate. Just thought I’d ask about this since it needled me a little.

      2. Well, the untouchability thing can differ depending on the context and the phrasing of the sentence. I stuck with ‘outcast’ since it was the easiest to understand for foreign readers who weren’t as familiar with english.
        The thing regarding Lala referring to herself as a ‘leprosy’. That is the correct term to use there. Cause she isn’t referring to solely herself. She’s saying that outcasts, these half-breeds, are the leprosy of society.

    1. Is the pictures spouse to be colored? The one you made looks like it’s highlighting the chair rather the person, and the chair looks like it’s made of wood with the lines, and also I rather like the images you don’t need color to bring it to life.
